taking a break

i will be taking a break for a while. i have been working full time and then coming home and working full time on my Whimiscal desgins for some time now and frankly...i'm just burnt out! I will take orders if you have an idea or need something for a gift (so please keep me in mind!), but i will not be adding any new items to my etsy shoppe at this time. I am planning to take the rest of the school year off and only making things as i feel like it. it has become more like a "job" than something i love to do and that's a huge clue that i need a break! please continue to follow my blog and facebook page because any time i come up with something fun, i'll be sharing it there! and who knows....this break may not last until may! LOL! hope you all understand!!! thanks so much!!! wende

face scrubbies and eye make up removers....

I soooo love to crochet!! I'm working on some more dish scrubbies and tawashi's, but I thought I would share these awesome little tiny face scrubbies and eye make up removers! They will come in a set of 7, one for each day of the week! I love my eye make up removers! They are just the right size to take off all that beautiful eye make up!!!

AAAAHHHH a wonderful sat. morning! i love getting up before everyone when it's so quiet! This morning was the first morning i've noticed the birds chirping while the sun came up!!! hope that means spring is right around the corner! (the pic above was taken by my father in law from their back porch! GORGEOUS!!)
and my other best friend....coffee!!! can't get much better than this! after i get some "go-go juice", i'll be finishing the alice in wonderland dresses so that i can move onto the caterpillar/butterfly costume and a petunia! something's always going in this studio!

New Blog, What to Post About?

Well, all the Etsy marketing books say that sellers need a blog to show their new stuff off, so here goes!

I've started many blogs and never kept up with them. Hopefully now that I have this one set up to update Facebook AND Twitter all in one step, maybe, just maybe I'll keep up with it!

So Wende, what's new in the whimsical world??? Well, I'm so glad you asked! I've been fast and furiously crocheting lots of dishcloths trying to get some pinks in for Valentine's day. I've also been working tonight on face scrubbies and eye makeup removers! They are so tiny and cute! I've been using them for about a month now and both Maddy and I are hooked! The kids have also been testing out my soap savers and love them too! Well, I guess that's it for now! I will post pictures of things I'm getting ready to list on Etsy here about twice a week (that's my goal anyways), so be sure to "follow" up there on the right so you have first dibs!!!
